(Glacier Creek @ Alyeska Highway)
After warming up on the surreal Winner Creek gorge, Olga and I put in for Glacier Creek just beneath the hand tram. With flows being very low for Glacier Creek, we found the whitewater in this stretch to be rather lackluster (likely due to how spectacular Winner Creek is). We were happy to check off this river, and will surely be back to do it again, but there were no memorable moments from the run. It was a great way to extend Winner Creek, but the woody banks and lack of any drops makes it a hard sell to both beginner and expert boaters.
