I joined a two day float from the Tazlina River to Chitina along with 5 rafts and 3 other packrafters.

• Day 1: 25 miles. Tried to surf every wave down the river. Everyone in the group had successes and failures. Kept boating playful.
• Day 2: 27 miles. Split time between floating in raft and packraft. Got off river in the early afternoon.

After the trip, we drove to Valdez and were met with come and go views throughout Thompson Pass on the way in. We ran the Lowe and Tsaina when in town.
